Fantastic Finn Needs Your Help!

Finn finds himself looking for a new home through no fault of his own and after many years of happy retirement. Sadly, his owner’s circumstances changed but he is a fantastic boy who will slip easily and deservingly into his new home and is already living in a foster home waiting for your call.

Finn was a racer but at 8 years young is fully enjoying his retirement and is fit and healthy and still full of energy and fun!

He has lived with both girl and boy greyhound companions until recently but could equally live happily as an only dog and would love all the extra attention. Finn is not suitable for a home with cats or small furry companions however.

Finn is a big, handsome, black coated boy with gorgeous silvery highlights and the softest eyes. It may take him a little time to get you know you gently, but once he bonds, his affectionate and loyal side will be his greatest strength. Finn loves to lean on you and will come looking for ear rubs with joy. He is a fantastic companion and happy just to be with you in an undemanding way.

Finn can be a little anxious in certain circumstances when out walking if approached suddenly by off lead dogs but responds very well to calm direction and should be allowed to mix with other dogs at his own pace. But he settles wonderfully with other dogs when politely introduced, happy to walk with dogs he knows and is very easy to handle on the lead. He is used to getting out and about in town, visiting a cafe, adventures in the car, but he especially loves his walks in the countryside and would love a quiet, even rural home.

Finn is very easily settled at home, loves a big cosy bed, is used to all the sights and sounds of home and climbs stairs with ease. He really loves his food, takes his treats gently and is happy to have a raw, wet or dry feed, loves extra vegetables as toppers and a special chew is always welcome.
