The Big Show

It's that time of the year again when Graham is starting to organise the Fun Greyhound Show which this year is on Sunday 5th November at the usual venue

- Lockerbie Town Hall. Unlike previous years, this year we are trying to fit the stalls upstairs in the large hall so that more people can watch the greys compete for the "fun" classes.

To this end, Arthur (01576 710295) is organising the stalls but will not be advertising this year for "external" stall holders as more emphasis will be placed on the "Show" itself. Having said that, we are starting to collect bottles for the infamous Bottle Tombola and if you would like to donate any (alcoholic or otherwise) please contact us through our Website or Facebook or any committee member or by dropping them off at the shop in High Street, Lockerbie.

Re the Show itself, Graham already has members/supporters contacting him to offer sponsorship for the classes and has a good number signed up already.

If you would wish to sponsor a class (first come first served) it costs £25 and you will be invited to come along on the day to present the rosettes and medals. As this will be Graham's last Fun Greyhound Show, he has decided to make the sponsorship "In Memory Of" either a person or a dog (s). For example Arthur is sponsoring the Champion of Champions Class "In Memory of Sam", one of his deceased greyhounds. If you would like to sponsor please contact Graham at 01387 760577 (answer machine is always on) More information will follow so keep watching!
